Registered name: "BALLYCLARE BOY" - also known as Max
The main stud in our kennel is the one and only "Ballyclare Boy". We call him Max for short.
His father is "CH, McGeoghan Bran" and mother is "Ballyfoyle Sky Blue". Max has won one green star so far, and many firsts in Glen shows.
He is two and a half years old. He is a lovely dog standing 13.5 inches of the ground and very strongly built. Max is heavy boned with a lovely wheaten coat. He is Fionn's father and passed on all his good features to him.
He has a nice quite manner and is usually the chilled out one of the group.
Registered name: "BALLYCLARE FINN MC COOL" - also know as Fionn
This is our first pup born in the Ballyclare Kennel.
We named Fionn after the Irish hero Finn Mc Cool. His Father is "Ballyclare Boy" (above) and mother is "Sally's Wonder" (below) - our own dogs.
He is also a very strong build, has an excellent coat and ears. Fionn is one and a half years old now.
Fionn is such a character around the house, and is adored by all of us. He is very charming and is always ready for a game! He is full of life and energy.
Registered name: "SALLY'S WONDER" - also know as Sally
This is Sally and she was my very first glen!
Her father is "Bailielands Bruce" and mother is "Knockroe Poppy".
She is Fionn's (above) mother and he was the only pup in her first litter so we had to keep him. She still minds him as if he was a young pup. She has a shorter coat than Max and Fionn, but is still a nice wheaten with some red down her back. Sally is three years old.
Sally has a lovely temperment, is very easy going around the house but bursts into hyper mode when brought hunting and loves to run through cover.
Registered name: "KNOCKROE SHANNON" - also known as Suzie
Suzie is the latest addition to our kennel. She joined us in Feb 2010.
Her father is "Feohanagh Tadhg" and mother is "Riversdale Rose".
She is also three years old.She has a lovely build and has an excellent scissors bite. She also has a lovely blue coat - the only blue coated Glen in our kennel.
Suzie is very friendly, and has an easygoing and very playful manner.
